“Don’t give me orders, ‘hikari’.”
“Stop calling me that.”
“Stop giving me orders.”
“I hate you.”
“I know.”

“Why are you here?”
“Why do you even ask?”
“Why didn’t you go away?
“Why do you want to know?”
"I just want to get rid of you."
"I know."

“Will you go away when I stop hating you?”
“You can’t.”
“What?”
“You can’t stop hating me.”
“I know.”

“Your lifepoints are almost up.”
“You have only two cards left.”
“Your turn.”
“I know.”

“You don’t even have a name.”
“I don’t care for a name.”
“You are ugly.”
“I don’t care for my appearance.”
“You are evil.”
“I don’t care what you think of me.”
“I know.”

“Yami?”
“What is it?”
“If I start… loving you instead of hating you, would that make you go away?”
“I live for you to hate me.”
“So… that is a yes?”
“Your turn.”
“I know.”

“You didn’t answer my question.”
“I never answer your questions.”
“I end my turn. Draw a card.”
“I know.”

“There is something you don’t know.”
“What is that supposed to mean?
“Your fingers.”
“What about them?”
“I like your fingers.”
“Why?”
“It’s the way you draw a card.”
“I draw a card like anyone else.”
“No, you don’t. When you draw a card slowly, it holds so much anticipation..”
“There’s nothing wrong with my fingers.”
“They’re long and slender.”
“Why are you paying attention to my fingers?”
“When you draw a card fast, it holds so much force..”
“Why are you paying attention to my fingers?”
“They’re the only beautiful feature you possess.”
“I..”

“..don’t know.”

^__^ That's okay. I thought it was rather weird because Malik repeats several times that he hates him, but still comments how he likes his yami's fingers..

It's the different interpretation of the reader that makes it so fun and exciting to write for! ^__^ Thank you for your comment!

Wow. I like the way you wrote this! It's almost like poetry, but it's not. The steady change of Malik's emotions is well played out and was effectively done, especially with the repeated motif of "I know." Makes the end with the "I... don't know" all the more awesome!
